The clubs motto is ' better than running alone' and it encapsulates our ultimate goal of empowering you to move that bit more and find some encouragement in doing so with others in a fun and social environment.

 

The Bacchus Marsh Running Club (BMRC) is a “not for profit” recreational running club committed to providing an environment that is safe for individuals, including children and that is free from harassment and abuse for all members, run leaders and volunteers.

 

As an Athletics Victoria (AV) affiliated recreational running club, the Bacchus Marsh Running Club abides by the Athletics Victoria Member Protection Policy, which has been developed to assist in that regard. It also supports the development of an environment which is conducive to the development, enjoyment and appreciation of recreational running.

 

Member protection is relevant for all members and seeks to ensure that everyone involved in the Bacchus Marsh Running Club is aware of his or her legal and ethical rights and responsibilities.

 

We are committed to the health, safety and general well-being of all of our members and will work to ensure that everyone associated with the Bacchus Marsh Running Club complies with its membership policies set out in the handbook and the Athletics Victoria Member Protection policy.
